Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese Medicine healing modality, which when translated literally means to “scrape sand.”  The treatment features a smooth, flat stone used to press against the skin and muscles of the face, with repetitive upward strokes, which induces blood flow, reenergises the underlying tissues, and produces a lifting and re-contouring effect on the face muscles. 

Prior to the main lifting & sculpting sequence, a lymphatic draining sequence is performed in order to prepare and drain the tissues of water or waste, by moving the lymph system.  To further sculpt & de-puff the face a full Face Cupping sequence is performed to follow the Gua Sha.

What to expect

A double cleanse, a full Gua Sha Sequence, a full Face Cupping Sequence.

The skin may appear flush or red for, typically, up to an hour after treatment. Bruising is rare but may occur.

Please wear a loose and comfortable top that is easy to take off as access to the full décolleté is necessary.

One single treatment will leave your skin radiant and feeling plump and lifted but a series of 6 weekly treatments is recommended for best and more lasting results.
